Chapter 4 · The TenPix Toolbar

4.6Forces

TenPix has no wind of its own: Tnpix Forces holds ordinary 3ds Max space warps. This window lists every Tnpix Forces modifier in the scene (one shared by several cloths is one row) with its Enabled box and Strength, the warps each one holds, and the dials of the picked warp: the same numbers its own panel shows.

Enabled / Strength (x every warp)
The modifier's own switch and its strength, which multiplies every warp in its list.
Its warps / Acting (clear = muted)
The warps in the picked modifier's list; clear Acting to mute one.
Warp dials
The picked warp's shape and dials: Wind (strength, decay, turbulence, frequency, scale, planar or spherical), Gravity (strength, decay, planar or spherical), Drag (linear, spherical or cylindrical, with the dampings of that shape and time on and off), Vortex (orbital speed, radial pull, axial drop, taper length, taper curve, direction), Motor (torque, time on and off), Push (force, time on and off) and PBomb (strength, range, chaos). Any other warp can be muted here; its dials are on its own panel. An animated dial is changed at the current frame, as on its own panel.
Select the warp / Select the cloth
Selects the picked warp, or the cloth objects that carry the picked modifier.
